Learning & Development Advisor

This role will provide a great opportunity to develop your learning design and project management skills whilst engaging a variety of stakeholders both internal and external.

Role accountabilities will be:

  • Define, analyse and determine the business case for new and/or changes to existing learning programs
  • Design innovative learning strategies and learning assets
  • Follow a structured project management methodology to manage the development of learning assets
  • Respond strategically to the changing learning and development needs of the business
  • Provide advice and support to site training and operational leaders and teams to ensure consistent and structured training and assessment
  • Identify opportunities for development and rationalisation of systems and the adoption of a common / consistent approach to leaning
  • Advise and assist the Iron Ore (WA) site training teams to maintain and manage the process for training and reporting systems 

 To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Training and Development or Human Resources
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Experience in a similar role with a keen interest and experience in new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning such as blended learning technology and digital learning
  • High level learning design skills and experience
  • High level structured  project management skills experience
  • High level attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be prepared to travel as required for training
  • Desirable to have previous experience working within the Mining Industry
