DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Ensure the achievement of budgeted maintenance targets by scheduling services, minor/major repairs & ongoing maintenance to a medium-sized fleet of Light Vehicles in the following range:  Toyota – Landcruiser, Prado & Hilux. 
• Keeping the maintenance workshop clean and orderly. 
• Support the effective operation of the light vehicle facilities by providing reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge, expertise and practical application, to minimise down time and subsequent loss of production.
• Ensure that the administrative duties associated with maintenance duties like the such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders, recording of labour time, etc. through the efficient utilisation of SAP, AMT and other relevant information management systems.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

• 7/7  (Days/Nights)
• Up to $65 p/hr + super 
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months valid)
• Underground mine site – workshop on surface 
• Once signed over to permanent competitive full time rate

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical (Light Vehicle) Qualification.
• Valid C class Drivers Licence
• Extensive knowledge of light vehicle technologies and equipment.
• Experienced in servicing and maintaining Toyota VDJ Landcruiser’s and Hilux’s.
• Mine site experience is a requirement. 

Desirable experience / Qualifications:  

• Current WA Dangerous Goods Card
• Working at Heights 
• Confined Spaces.
• Experience working on ancillary equipment like bobcat’s. compressors, lighting towers, gensets. 
• Automotive A/C ticket is an advantage.
