Automotive Electrician

Employment Conditions:

• 2/1, 7/7  FIFO Perth Roster
• $70 to $85/hr + super
• Day & Night Shift
• Excellent safety record & management systems
• Regular drug & alcohol screening onsite
• Immediate starts available for approved applicants

Duties

• Scheduled services, repairs, assisting with minor rebuilds & ongoing low voltage or high voltage maintenance to a fleet of underground and/or surface mining machinery (depending on site location and previous experience).
• Experience with Sandvik, CAT, Hitachi, Atlas Cop CO or Epiroc Equipment ideal
• Must have great diagnostics, problem-solving & fault-finding skills.
• Identify, interpret or repair for reuse parts & accessories.
• Meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes in a busy fully equipped modern mine-site workshop.
• Work in a multi-cultural work environment.

Skills & Experience

• Trade Certificate (Australian Recognised or Equivalent VETASSES) 
• Underground experience is favourable, however, surface experience is accepted
• Current / Valid Drivers License (C Class minimum)
• National Police Clearance (valid within 3-6 months)
• Air Conditioning Ticket 
• RCT Certificates 1, 2  & 3 (Desirable but not essential) 
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Work unsupervised at times
• Basic Computer Skills
