Health and Safety Advisor

Role Overview
  
Our client is a leading mining company looking for an experienced HSE Advisor. The position would suit a Health Safety & Environment professional who enjoys working autonomously and has experience in production mining. 

Duties/ Key Responsibilities: 

• Participating in safety inspection processes & reporting processes 
• Actively participating in mentoring and coaching of personnel to establish a sustained safety culture
• Participating in the control of identified hazards where appropriate
• Providing assistance and guidance in the investigation of incidents
• Assisting operational personnel with the development of Safe Working Procedures (SWP)

Key Details: 

• Long term opportunity 
• 8/6 roster – immediate start
• Superannuation paid on all hours
• Dry & Wet Mess
• Single rooms only. All rooms are airconditioned with ensuite bathrooms.

• ICAM Investigations
• Risk Assessments 
• Technical advice and influence to leaders
• Vision for opportunities to improve – create initiative/programs – change management

Criteria:

• At least 2 years HSE Advisory experience in FIFO role 
• Cert IV OH&S minimum
• Valid National Police Check
• Current / Valid Drivers License (C-Class minimum)
