This is a rare part time opportunity with exposure to all aspects of the employee life cycle. Reporting to the Directors of this small Consulting business, the People & Culture Partner will provide HR and employee relations advice across the business, while also being responsible for day to day transactional HR tasks.
About the role:
- Part time position – 24 hours per week
- Standalone, autonomous role
- Provide HR support and advice to Directors and employees
- Manage performance review process
- Manage pay reviews and changes in conditions
- Build relationships across the business
- Drive a positive culture – wellness initiatives
- Update policies and procedures
- End to end recruitment
- Manage probation periods
- HR administration – eg leave requests, reporting, contracts
About you:
- Seasoned HR professional with experience in a standalone role
- Ability to communicate effectively with junior employees and Directors alike
- Strong Employee Relations and Fair Work knowledge
- Happy to take on transactional HR and admin tasks
- Attention to detail
- Experience in a white collar professional services environment preferred
This is a part time permanent opportunity, offering 24 hours per week either over 3 days or spread across the week. Due to the part time nature of the role, the preference is to have an HR presence in the office rather than working from home.
