About the Role:
You will join the Resource Development function within the Exploration Team, supporting an active near-mine surface drilling program. The role focuses on RC and diamond drilling to target and evaluate potential mineral resource upgrades and extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise near-mine RC drilling operations, ensuring safe, efficient execution and adherence to geological and operational standards.
- Conduct RC chip logging and geological interpretation to support resource modelling and grade control.
- Supervise combined RC and diamond drill rigs, including core handling, recovery measurements, and photographic documentation.
- Log diamond core and RC samples, accurately and consistently.
- Mentor and train graduate geologists in field procedures, logging standards, sampling practices, and data quality control.
- Maintain rig safety oversight and produce daily reports covering drilling progress, geology, sampling, and operational performance.
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience as a Geologist in WA Mining
- Tertiary Qualification in Geology
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Clean Police Clearance
