Underground HD Fitter

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

• $75- $85 p/hr + super with Weekly pay
• 2/1, 8/6 and even time rosters (Day & Night) 
• FIFO from Perth
• Sites across WA, Pilbara, Goldfields, Esperance
• Modern Workshops & Facilities
• Excellent safety record & management systems
• Regular drug & alcohol screening onsite

• Gym, recreation facilities complete with games, a wet mess, dry mess and outdoor sports facilities

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Scheduled Service, minor rebuilds & ongoing preventative maintenance to a fleet of CAT, Sandvik, Atlas Cop Co/Epiroc, Volvo and/or Normet Heavy Vehicles.
• Breakdown repairs and occasional rebuilds
• Diagnose, problem-solve & fault find to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes in a busy, fully equipped modern workshop
• Identify, interpret & repair for reuse any parts & accessories
• Work in a multi-cultural work environment

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy)
• Current / Valid C Class Drivers License
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months valid)
• Experience with Hydraulics, Major overhauls and Automotive Electrics Desired
• Experience working Underground is ideal
• Highly developed troubleshooting & diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work unsupervised at times
