Accounts Payable Officer

An opportunity to join a well-established mining operation, this role will support a busy Accounts Payable function during a period of planned leave cover and increased workload.

Working within a collaborative finance team, you will process high volumes of supplier invoices, resolve supplier queries and ensure accounts payable activities are completed accurately and efficiently.

Core functions of the role include:

• End-to-end accounts payable processing
• High-volume supplier invoice processing
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Resolving supplier and internal stakeholder queries
• Processing payment runs
• Maintaining accurate supplier records and accounts
• Assisting with month-end accounts payable activities
• Pronto ERP must 
• Supporting the wider finance team as required

About you

You are an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who is comfortable working within a fast-paced operational environment and managing high transaction volumes.

• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable
• Experience processing high volumes of supplier invoices
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• Full Australian working rights
• Current or recent Pronto experience
• Mining industry experience

Particulars

• ASAP start
• 3-4 month initial casual contract contract, with potential for extension
• Circa $50 – 55 per hour + superannuation, commensurate with experience
• Full-time hours (7.6-hour day)
• Flexible start and finish times (typically between 7:30am-8:30am starts)
• West Perth office-based role, no parking provided
