Associate Director – Structures – Relocate to Perth

Innovative structural and civil engineering consultancy in Perth seeking an Associate Director – Structures to manage their Perth office.

They have 4 offices around Australia and partner with leading developers and builders to deliver landmark projects including high-rise towers, complex commercial and residential developments, major public infrastructure, and cultural facilities.

Will suit a highly capable professional with a strong technical background, proven leadership and deep knowledge of the Australian D&C market.
You will be responsible for overseeing design quality, managing projects and people, and maintaining a strong, positive team culture.

You’ll be leading a well-structured, experienced team of around 20 staff, consisting of 4 Principal/Senior Engineers, a layer of mid-level engineers, 5 Structural Drafters and a Civil Engineering team of 3 people, plus admin/finance.

You’ll oversee a broad mix of complex and high-profile projects ranging from $10 million to over $200 million in value. These include high-rise towers, mixed-use precincts, educational facilities, commercial buildings, car parks, and public infrastructure.

They are a privately held, employee-driven consultancy with a clear pathway for the right candidate to become a shareholder within 2-3 year cycle.

Requires; minimum of 15 + years experience structural engineering experience working in reputable consulting engineering firms and at least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams. Strong structural engineering background with project delivery capability in structural engineering and a deep understanding of the Design & Construct (D&C) delivery model.
