About the Roles

Scotford Fennessy is actively seeking experienced Shotfirers, Blast Crew, and Offsiders for multiple open-pit mining operations across Western Australia — including the Goldfields and Pilbara regions. You’ll be working in high-performing teams focused on safety and quality, with competitive hourly rates and rosters to suit your lifestyle.

What We’re Looking For

Shotfirers

• WA Shotfirer’s Licence (essential)
• Dangerous Goods Security Card (essential)
• HR Driver’s Licence (desirable)
• Experience with cast boosters, electronic & non-electric dets
• Proficient in bucket loading and blast hole stemming
• Minimum 12 months’ open-pit experience

Blast Crew

• Dangerous Goods Security Card (essential)
• Valid C-Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in Drill & Blast
• Team player with strong safety awareness

Offsiders

• Previous site-based or labouring experience (highly desirable)
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Keen attitude and willingness to learn

Please note: Full Australian working rights are essential for all roles.
