Business Analyst / Testing Lead

As the Business Analyst / Testing Lead, you will play a central role validating the solution, coordinating User Acceptance Testing, and ensuring seamless alignment between process, data, and change workstreams.
This is a multi-faceted position, working across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sentral and associated integrations, with the mandate to ensure the solution supports consistent, efficient and future-focused operations across a multi-site school network.
Working closely with Finance and Student Administration SMEs, implementation partners, data teams and change specialists, you will coordinate all testing activity, maintain documentation, validate To-Be processes, and support readiness for deployment.
Core functions of the role include:
Solution Design & Documentation
- Maintain and update To-Be process maps
- Validate solution configuration against business requirements
- Ensure traceability between processes, requirements, integrations and reporting
- Facilitate clear communication between SMEs and implementation partners
Testing Leadership (UAT Lead)
- Prepare the UAT Test Plan and acceptance criteria
- Develop detailed test scripts alongside Finance & Student Administration SMEs
- Coordinate testing schedules and execution across a diverse stakeholder group
- Manage issue triage, retesting cycles, and progress reporting
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage SMEs across multiple schools and the central office
- Facilitate workshops confirming requirements, resolving issues and validating outcomes
- Work closely with project, data and change teams to align readiness activities
Continuous Improvement & Delivery Support
- Maintain clear documentation of decisions, changes, and testing outcomes
- Support lessons-learned reviews and handover documentation
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and uplift in system literacy

About You
You are an experienced Business Analyst with strong grounding in UAT leadership, process mapping, stakeholder engagement and solution validation. You thrive at the intersection of people, process and technology, and enjoy guiding teams through change.
- Qualification in Business Analysis or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience leading UAT in a large system implementation
- Strong understanding of process mapping and business process validation
- Experience working across process, data and change workstreams
- Excellent documentation, organisation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
‘Nice-to-haves’
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sentral, or similar ERP/Student Management Systems
- Experience in education, not-for-profit or multi-site environments
- Understanding of data migration and reporting validation
- Familiarity with change management and go-live readiness
A salary package of circa $140,000 TRP will be negotiated based on capability and experience.
