We’re partnering with a well-established national multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Engineer with consultancy experience who is ready to step beyond pure design delivery and broaden their exposure across project management, client interaction and mentoring.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 5+years of experience who is looking to develop their technical capabilities while gaining greater ownership of projects and a clear pathway for future career progression.
Working alongside experienced engineers and leaders, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of projects across Local government, Industrial, Urban Development, Roads and Public Infrastructure, giving you exposure to a wide variety of engineering challenges.
The Role
You’ll work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, contributing to projects from concept through to construction while continuing to develop your design, project management and client-facing skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Civil design and construction support across infrastructure, roads, drainage, earthworks and pavements projects.
- Delivery of projects within industrial, public infrastructure and urban development sectors.
- Preparation of technical reports, investigations and design documentation.
- Client liaison and stakeholder management.
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling and financial management.
- Supporting proposal and tender preparation.
- Working collaboratively with engineers, designers and project teams.
About You You’ll be a motivated Civil Engineer looking to build on your existing consultancy experience and take the next step in your professional development.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A Civil Engineering degree.
- 5+ years’ experience within an engineering consultancy.
- Strong civil design and project delivery experience.
- Exposure to infrastructure, urban development, industrial or roads projects.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing your technical and professional skills.
