Scotford Fennessy are seeking a Dewatering Technician to join an established WA gold operation in WA, with a start date ASAP. 

Working within a 2-person crew, you’ll take responsibility for day-to-day dewatering activities with minimal supervision. This role suits a capable operator who enjoys working autonomously, solving problems and keeping systems running.

  • 7:7 FIFO roster from Perth 
  • $65.00ph flat 
  • Dayshift only – 12-hour shifts paid 
  • Temp to Permanent opportunity after 3 months 
  • ASAP start date – ideally within the next few weeks 
  • Well-equipped village with high-speed room Wi-Fi, Telstra Coverage, gym, sports courts, tavern and regular activities 

What will you be responsible for? 

  • Operate and maintain dewatering systems, including bores pumps and sumps 
  • Carry out polywelding as required 
  • Identify faults and troubleshoot dewatering issues 
  • Manage daily tasks confidently with minimal supervision 
  • Work alongside your crew partner to support safe and reliable operations 

What will you need to be successful?

  • A minimum of 2 years’ site dewatering experience 
  • Practical experience working with pumps, sumps and bores 
  • Poly-welding capability – essential 
  • Forklift License – Highly desired 
  • It Carrier – Highly desired 
  • Manual C Class Driver License 
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your tasks 
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
