Scotford Fennessy has partnered with a leading mining operator currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join a well-established gold operation in Western Australia on an 8:6 roster.
This is a hands-on role within a busy processing plant, focused on maintaining and calibrating a wide range of instrumentation critical to plant performance and safety.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Calibration, maintenance and fault finding across plant instrumentation
- Working with process analysers and gas monitoring systems
- Maintaining probes including pH, dissolved oxygen, density and moisture
- Supporting cyanide monitoring systems and compliance requirements
- Managing calibration records and instrument reporting
- Contributing to plant reliability and optimisation
What We’re Looking For:
- Trade qualified Instrumentation Technician or Electrician with Cert IV in Instrumentation
- Strong experience within gold processing plants (CIL/CIP preferred)
- Solid background in calibration and instrumentation maintenance
- Exposure to analysers and gas monitoring systems
- Experience working within a FIFO environment
- Previous experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment
- Strong safety focus with the ability to pass full pre-employment medicals
Tickets & Licences:
- WA “A” Grade Electrical Licence
- Cert IV in Instrumentation
- CPR / LVR (current)
- High Risk Work Licence (including EWP)
- Working at Heights (current)
- Valid “C” Class Driver’s Licence

- $80–$85/hr + super paid on all hours
