Opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join this specialist ER team in a dynamic heavy industry environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting leaders to manage complex employee matters while ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant people practices across the business.
You will work as part of a small employee relations team, providing expert guidance on case management, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end to end support on employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, warnings and terminations
  • Partner with leaders to navigate complex and sensitive employee issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and company policies
  • Support and coach leaders to build capability in managing employee matters effectively
  • Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of HR/ER policies and procedures
  • Participate in and lead employee relations projects and initiatives aimed at improving workplace culture and processes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records and reporting

About You

  • Experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, or HR advisory roles
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and best practice ER processes
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and sensitive employee matters
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a broader HR team
