Experienced Field Assistant/Geology Technician

Role Overview
  
Our client has engaged us to source experienced Field Assistants to assist their mining operations in various sites around Western Australia.
  
This role will suit candidates with at least 3 years of experience working in exploration as a Field Assistant or Coreyard Technician. This position has the potential to be ongoing and allow candidates to develop their skill sets further while also allowing some to transition from a temp to a perm position with the company based on their performance.
  
  
Duties 

• RC drilling sample collection and chip logging
• Variety of roles including field work, coreyard and sampling
• Core work including core orientation, cutting & sampling
• Using site software
• Collecting & packaging samples
• Maintaining stock levels and equipment. 

  
Requirements

• Current / Valid C-Class Manual Driver’s Licence (HR Licence desirable)
• Forklift Licence 
• 4WD ticket  
• Senior First Aid
• National Police Clearance 
• 3 years experience as a field assistant or coreyard technician.
