Finance Administrator
A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Finance & Administration professional to join a Family Office in a broad support role.
Working closely with the finance team, the position combines transactional finance, treasury support, document management and general administration within a lean, collaborative environment.
Ideal for an experienced Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, Practice Manager or Office Manager seeking flexibility, variety and long-term stability.
Core responsibilities include
- Accounts payable and payment processing
- Credit card and bank reconciliations
- Treasury and cashflow support
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining structured filing systems and document control
- Preparing, compiling and managing reports, PDFs and supporting documentation
- Coordinating meetings and assisting with calendar management
- Supporting the preparation of reports and business documentation
- Liaising with suppliers, service providers and external stakeholders
- Assisting with office coordination, facilities and general administration
- Helping maintain a professional and organised office environment
- Providing ad hoc support across the team and contributing wherever required
- Assisting with travel arrangements and executive support activities where required
About you
You may come from a Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, Practice Manager, Office Manager or similar background. Experience within a professional services or privately owned business environment would be advantageous.
You will bring experience across:
- Finance and administration
- Accounts payable and reconciliations
- Xero
- Microsoft Office and PDF documents
You will also possess:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership
- A positive, no-ego approach and willingness to assist wherever required
- Full working rights
Importantly, you enjoy variety and are comfortable working across finance, document management and administration, taking pride in being organised, proactive and helping keep things running smoothly. Exposure to travel coordination or executive support activities would be advantageous, though not essential.
Particulars
- Permanent part-time position, office based
- Approximately 25-28 hours per week
- Flexibility available around either five shorter days, or four longer days, subject to mutual agreement
- Equivalent to $85k-$100k + superannuation on a full-time basis, paid on a pro rata basis according to agreed hours
- No parking provided, central location near trainline
