Finance Superintendent

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact in this global mining business as a Finance Superintendent, based in Perth.

This is a broad and commercially engaging role, operating across both corporate finance and global project support. You will lead a small team locally while working closely with international stakeholders across the UK and operational regions.

The position combines core finance responsibilities with a strong focus on improving processes, systems and the way finance supports projects globally. The environment is evolving, offering genuine scope to influence, improve and shape how things are done.

Core functions of the role include:

• Financial and management reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting (including annual planning cycles)
• Cost control and project finance support
• Audit, compliance and governance oversight
• Leadership of a small Perth-based finance team
• Partnering with global stakeholders across projects and corporate functions
• Driving process improvements across finance workflows
• Supporting systems enhancement and automation initiatives (e.g. Power BI)

About you

You are a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys working across teams and solving problems in complex environments. You are comfortable balancing hands-on involvement with broader oversight and are able to influence stakeholders across different functions and geographies.

• CA/CPA qualified
• Experience in mining, resources and project-based environments
• Background across financial reporting, budgeting and project/capex exposure
• Proven stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
• Experience improving processes, systems or ways of working
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across levels

Nice-to-have

• ERP exposure (e.g. Pronto, JDE)
• Experience working across multiple systems or global operations
• Exposure to automation / reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)

• 1 day WFH (flexible once established)

• Salary circa $200,000 + super + bonus + LTIP
