Financial Controller – 3 Month FTC

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact in this large construction firm as an experienced Financial Controller, stepping in to provide coverage during a period of leave while supporting key month-end and year-end deliverables.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can step into the finance function, ensuring continuity across monthly management reporting and audit readiness.

Core functions of the role

• Ownership of monthly management accounting and reporting
• Oversight of month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
• Support year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Preparation and review of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain continuity across finance operations during leave cover

About the opportunity

• Up to circa $100/hour + superannuation
• Immediate Start (handover prior to early June leave)
• 3-month contract (with potential for some extension)
• Based in Osborne Park
• 5 days per week, full time hours
• Parking available (low daily cost)

About you

• CPA/CA qualification
• Proven Financial Controller / Senior Finance experience
• Strong hands-on experience with month-end and audit support
• Ability to manage a full set of financials autonomously
• Strong Excel skills; ERP experience advantageous
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal handholding
• Full Australian Working Rights
