If you’re an enthusiastic, skilled Pit Technician with multiple years of experience working with gold, this position could be for you. Duties 

  • Conduct blast-hole and crusher sampling and dispatch samples to the on-site laboratory.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of laboratory assay results.
  • Complete ore spotting, dig-face inspections, and ore mark-ups to maintain ore hygiene.
  • Carry out stockpile inspections, reconciliations, and balances.
  • Enter and validate material movement and truck data.
  • Manage sampling equipment and consumables.
  • Communicate and escalate variances or deviations from plan to relevant stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Technical Services team.

  
Requirements

  • Current / Valid Manual 4WD Driver’s Licence
  • Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Senior First Aid
  • National Police Clearance
  • Australian working rights
