Geology Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Geology Technician to join our client on site in the Goldfields on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth. This is an exciting opportunity join one of the big players in the Gold Mining Industry! 

About the Role:

Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, the ideal candidate will have prior experience in core yard work, working in the field and the pit. You will be a dynamic worker who can adapt to a variety of geological assistant tasks. This is a great chance to develop your skillset!

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and organize core, including cutting and sampling
• Label, bag, and dispatch samples accurately
• Assist with field work such as mapping, drilling, and sample collection
• Complete pit wall and bench mark-ups
• Record and manage geological data accurately
• Prepare and ship samples following QA/QC procedures
• Follow all safety, environmental, and site policies

About You

• Previous WA experience as a Geology Technician (Core or Field)
• Previous experience on a Gold mine
• Manual Driving License 
• Forklift ticket and experience desirable
