Geotechnical Engineer

• Employee-owned national consulting company who provide specialist expertise across geotechnical, pavements, groundwater and dewatering
• Projects across; major civil infrastructure/construction including alliance and JV projects with deep underground tunnelling infrastructure, wind farm developments, mining/resources as well as mid to high rise building construction with deep excavations and basements/foundations
• They have over 120 staff across Australia
• You will work with a specialist team of 25 staff, with well-regarded technical leaders in the industry to learn from
• The role will involve investigation, analysis, design and reporting for foundation and retention systems, earthworks and working platforms, ground improvement, slope stability assessments and temporary works design.

Requires;

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, PhD or Masters in Geotechnical Engineering highly regarded.
• 3-7 years experience in retaining walls, piles, slope stability software, 2D/3D finite analysis, Excel, Plaxis 2D/3D, Wallap, L-Pile
