Health & Safety Superintendent

We’re partnering with a leading Australian gold producer to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Superintendent. Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead a team of 7-10 safety professionals while driving continuous improvement across three underground mines, two open pit operations and a processing plant.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and mentor a team of Safety Advisors, Trainers, Emergency Services Officers and an Occupational Health Nurse.
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture and improve site performance.
• Review and enhance safety systems, policies and procedures.
• Lead incident investigations, risk analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach leaders and build capability across the operation.

What we’re looking for:

• Demonstrated Health & Safety leadership experience within underground mining.
• Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
• Experience with INX, Pronto and Microsoft Office.
• A proactive leader who enjoys challenging the status quo and influencing positive change.
• Someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and wants to make a genuine impact.
