Heavy Auto Electrician – FIFO

We’re currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians for long-term opportunities across both surface and underground mining operations.

With strong earning potential, even-time rosters and opportunities to upskill, these roles offer excellent stability and career progression.

Employment Conditions

• Upto $95/hr + Super – depending on experience
• Even-time rosters and 2:1 available
• FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie, Pilbara or Karratha
• Day & night shift
• Temp To Perm opportunity
• Long-term opportunities with room for growth and upskilling
• Work across modern mining mobile plant fleets
• Established Camp with gym, wet mess and excellent facilities

The Role

• Diagnose, fault find and problem solve on mining mobile plant
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Test equipment and ensure safety compliance
• Complete Take 5s, JSEAs and hazard identification
• Scope jobs accurately, including labour, materials and resources
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship

Skills & Experience

• Australian-recognised Trade Certificate or equivalent VETASSESS
• Mining mobile plant experience highly desirable
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik or Epiroc equipment is highly desired
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Air Conditioning Ticket highly desirable
• RCT Tickets highly desirable
• Basic computer skills
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
