Jumbo Operator

Scotford Fennessy is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Jumbo Operator to join one of WA’s leading underground mining operations on a contract basis, with temp-to-perm potential for the right candidate.

Particulars: 

• Roster: 2/2 FIFO (Thursday to Thursday)
• Shift Pattern: 2 weeks of days, followed by 2 weeks of nights – no changeover
• Up to circa $1,500 per shift + super
• Average 2–3 cuts per shift with dedicated nipper support
• 3-month initial contract with potential for permanent transition

About you: 

• Proven experience operating Twin Boom Jumbos
• Familiarity with Sandvik machines highly regarded
• Valid Working at Heights ticket and underground competencies
• Manual WA Driver’s License
• Ability to pass medical and meet mobilisation timelines
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist across tasks when needed
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current Police Clearance

The client is significantly motivated to engage the right person, and will negotiate a rate up to circa $1500 per shift, plus superannuation on all hours. *Multiple opportunities* Senior Operators above this rate are encouraged to apply, and your rate will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
