Jumbo Operator

Scotford Fennessy is currently seeking skilled and reliable Jumbo Operators to join an expanding underground mining contractor on a contract basis, with genuine temp-to-perm potential for the right candidate.

The company is entering an exciting period of growth, with a new portal soon to be cut and further projects on the horizon, creating strong opportunities for experienced operators looking for long-term work and career progression.

Particulars:

• Roster: 2/2 FIFO (Thursday to Thursday)
• Shift Pattern: 2 weeks days, followed by 2 weeks nights – no changeover
• $1,200–$2,000 per shift + superannuation on all hours, depending on experience
• Average 2–3 cuts per shift with dedicated nipper support
• 3-month initial contract with genuine temp-to-perm potential
• Opportunity to grow with an expanding underground mining contractor

About You:

• Proven experience operating Twin Boom Jumbos
• Strong underground hard-rock mining experience
• Valid Working at Heights ticket and relevant underground competencies
• Manual WA Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass a medical and meet mobilisation requirements
• Team-focused attitude and willingness to assist across the crew
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current Police Clearance

The client is highly motivated to secure the right operators and is offering rates from approximately $1,200 up to $2,000 per shift + superannuation on all hours, depending on experience, machine knowledge and suitability for the role.
