Long Hole Driller

Scotford Fennessy is partnering with a leading mining company in the Goldfields region to recruit experienced Long Hole Drill Operators for underground operations. This is a FIFO role ex-Perth on a 1/1 roster, with an initial 3-month contract and strong potential for longer-term employment.

What the Role Involves:

• Operating Sandvik Drill Rigs.
• Supporting production through efficient drilling and blasting preparation.
• Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting maintenance requirements.
• Collaborating with the underground team to maintain safe and productive operations.
• Maintaining compliance with all safety and site regulations.

Requirements for the Role:

• Proven underground mining experience as a Long Hole Drill Operator.
• Prior long hole drilling experience.
• Current manual WA Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
• Right to live and work in Australia (passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate, or current visa).
• Willingness to assist in other operational roles.
