Management Accountant

Whilst many sectors face economic headwinds, this ASX listed global resources operator is thriving, with significant revenue increases and strategic growth. 

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as a multi-facetted Management Accountant in the centrally located modern office near trainline. Reporting to the Finance Manager, core functions of the role include: 

• Manage site month-end close; cost allocations, journals, fixed assets, and GL reconciliations
• Produce monthly financial reports and analyse results
• Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and life-of-mine plans
• Support Anaplan budgeting tool implementation and adoption with site and planning teams
• Lead monthly cost reviews with department managers
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership, identifying cost-saving and operational efficiency opportunities
• Assist with half-year and full-year audits
• Streamline systems, processes, and controls through targeted improvements
• Deliver ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis
• Monthly site visits 

About you

• CPA/CA qualified 
• Demonstrated relevant experience commensurate with core functions of the role
• Demonstrated Pronto and Anaplan experience (ideally)
• Ability to travel to site when required 
• Full Australian Working Rights
• National Police Clearance Check or ability to obtain
• Full pre-employment medical process
