Core functions of the role include:

  • Developing relationships with industry participants and gathering market intelligence

About you

You are a strong communicator and analytical thinker who enjoys understanding how markets work, developing relationships and turning complex or incomplete information into clear commercial insights.

You may come from consulting, market intelligence, research, commercial analysis, economics, finance, resources, energy or another analytical environment. Previous experience within the specific commodities covered by the business is not essential, as the industry knowledge can be taught.

  • Experience within consulting, market intelligence, research, commercial analysis or a related environment
  • Strong Excel modelling, forecasting or data analysis capability
  • Confidence developing relationships and asking informed questions
  • Ability to interpret information rather than simply compile data

  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute within a small team
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, economics, finance, science, engineering or another related discipline
