Mechanical Fitter

We are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter for a long-term FIFO maintenance position within a well-established WA Gold operation. 
This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work with an immediate start available, and strong potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.  

What’s on offer:

• Start date:    4th June 2026 on Nightshift 
• Roster:          8:6/7:7 (Dayshift/Nightshift) 
• Rate:             $70ph flat days & $80.50ph nights 
• FIFO from Perth only with meals and accommodation provided on camp 
• 3-month minimum contract with potential for permanent position for the right person 
• Weekly Pay – Every Wednesday 
• Super paid on all hours! 

About the role: 
You will be working across fixed plant maintenance activities within a gold processing environment, carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on a range of critical plant equipment. You will need experience in the below:

• Strong Fixed Plant maintenance background 
• Experience with Gyratory crushers, Pump maintenance, Conveyors and general processing plant maintenance 
• Basic hydraulics knowledge 

The requirements:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate 
• High risk work license 
• Working at heights ticket – Within 2 years
• Confined Spaces ticket – Within 2 years 
• Minimum C class manual driver’s license.
• Willingness to get a national police clearance
• Ability to pass medical + drug and alcohol screen.
• Previous FIFO experience in Australia – Gold experience desired not essential 
• Previous experience in maintaining fixed plant
