Mine Geologist (Production)

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will provide geological support to mining operations through orebody interpretation, grade control, data collection and reconciliation, ensuring mine plans are executed safely, efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day grade control activities in accordance with the mining plan, including sampling, mapping and geological logging
• Design ore blocks to maximise recovery and minimise dilution and ore loss
• Compile, analyse and reconcile geological and production data to ensure model accuracy and performance
• Interpret and model mineralisation, lithology, structure and alteration to support grade control and mine planning
• Contribute to mine design reviews, identifying risks and opportunities to improve operational outcomes
• Provide geological support to mining operations, guiding and mentoring geological personnel and collaborating with site teams
• Ensure high standards of safety, data integrity and reporting through robust QA/QC, documentation and continuous improvement practices

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Geologist in WA mining
• Tertiary Qualification in Geology
• Exposure to geological modelling software.
• Exposure to geological modelling and wireframing.
• Manual Driver’s Licence
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Clean Police Clearance
