Payroll Advisor

An opportunity to step into a well-run payroll function within the resources sector, this contract role offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a stable and supportive environment.

Joining a collaborative team, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across a workforce of approximately 600 employees, supporting business continuity.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can come in, get up to speed quickly and operate with confidence in a SAP SuccessFactors environment.

Core functions of the role include:

• End-to-end payroll processing across multiple pay cycles
• Processing new starters, terminations, leave, allowances and adjustments
• Responding to payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders
• Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements and payroll conditions
• Managing payroll compliance obligations including superannuation, payroll tax and accruals
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data

About you

You are a confident payroll professional who enjoys owning your work, working to deadlines and being part of a collaborative, down-to-earth team. You’re comfortable stepping into new environments, picking things up quickly and contributing from day one.

• End-to-end payroll experience
• Experience working with awards and/or enterprise agreements
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance (NES, super, accruals)
• Full Australian working rights
• Demonstrated payroll experience in mining
• Demonstrated SAP Success Factors experience

Particulars

• Approximately 3-month contract (potential to extend)
• 37.5-hour work week with flexible start/finish times
• Kwinana office (2 days preferred – Mon/Wed), CBD option available other days
• WFH 1–2 days per week once settled in
• Free parking on-site (Kwinana) not in CBD
