About the Role
Join a well-established payroll team based in Perth CBD, supporting a leading Renewable energy company. In this ongoing role with potential to become permanent you’ll assist with end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payroll processing, ensure compliance with employment agreements, and support payroll payments, system administration, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the processing of multi-region payrolls (Australia, UK, Singapore and others as required)
  • Review employee contracts and workplace agreements to ensure accurate pay and entitlements
  • Administer and update payroll systems, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions
  • Ensure payrolls are processed and submitted before banking cut-off times
  • Assist with the timely processing of PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax obligations
  • Import and check timesheets to ensure completeness and approval
  • Liaise with employees and management to resolve payroll-related queries
  • Support ad-hoc payroll reporting and continuous improvement projects

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of end-to-end payroll experience, including handling multiple awards and/or enterprise agreements
  • 2-3 years of experience with Definitiv or ADP Payroll software
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation including superannuation, PAYG, FBT, and payroll tax

Desirable Experience:

  • Background in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Intermediate Excel skills
