A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as an experienced Payroll Officer in this prominent, growing national organisation undergoing significant scale and transformation.

Based in Perth CBD, the role supports a multi-entity payroll function servicing a diverse workforce across Australia. The payroll team plays a central role in the organisation, managing far more than pay runs alone. You will be involved across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with internal stakeholders and contributing to the accuracy, integrity and continuous improvement of payroll operations.

As you would expect, day-to-day matters will include processing, and a mix of stakeholder engagement and problem-solving within a structured, deadline-driven environment.

Core functions of the role include:

  • End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities and awards
  • Processing new starters, terminations, leave, allowances and payroll adjustments
  • Responding to payroll queries from employees, managers and stakeholders
  • Interpreting awards, agreements and payroll conditions
  • Managing payroll compliance obligations including superannuation, PAYG and reporting
  • Supporting month-end and year-end payroll processes
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data
  • Contributing to process improvement and system optimisation initiatives

About You

You are a payroll professional who genuinely enjoys working in payroll and values accuracy, structure and collaboration. You are comfortable working to fixed deadlines, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and contributing positively within an experienced payroll team.

You bring hands-on end-to-end payroll experience, ideally from a multi-award or multi-entity environment, and are confident supporting both blue-collar and corporate workforces. You value good leadership, honest communication and being part of a team where payroll is taken seriously.

Demonstrated experience with enterprise payroll systems (e.g. SAP HCM / Employee Central Payroll, Chris21, ADP, Micropay or similar)

Full Australian working rights are required.

  • Exposure to national payrolls or blue-collar workforces
  • Experience working within well-governed payroll teams or shared service environments

Salary package circa $100,000 – $110,000 + superannuation + STI, commensurate with capabilities and experience.
