Payroll Officer

An opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established national infrastructure organisation on an initial short-term contract basis.

Based in Perth CBD, this role will support an established payroll function during a busy period and requires someone capable of stepping into a complex environment and contributing immediately with minimal training.

This is a hands-on payroll role within a structured enterprise environment, suited to someone confident working across SAP Payroll systems and managing payroll processes accurately within fixed deadlines.

Core functions of the role include:

• End-to-end payroll processing within a large enterprise environment
• Processing payroll adjustments, leave, terminations and employee changes
• Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders
• Supporting payroll compliance and reporting obligations
• Maintaining payroll records and employee data integrity
• Working within SAP Payroll systems across PCC, Employee Central and ECP
• Supporting the payroll team during a high-volume operational period

About You

You are an experienced Payroll Officer who is comfortable stepping into established environments and contributing quickly. You enjoy payroll operations, work well within structured processes and are confident managing deadlines and stakeholder communication.

You will bring demonstrated SAP Payroll experience, specifically across Payroll Control Centre (PCC), Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Previous experience within larger corporate, infrastructure, utilities, mining or shared services environments will be highly regarded.

• Immediate or short-notice availability will be viewed favorably
• Full Australian working rights are required
• Experience within large enterprise or shared services payroll environments
• Exposure to award or enterprise agreement interpretation
• Previous experience within utilities, infrastructure, mining or industrial environments

Circa $55 – $60 per hour + superannuation (including casual loading) commensurate with capabilities and experience.
