Payroll Officer

Payroll Officer | Tier One Gold Mining Company | $60-$70ph + Super

We’re partnering with a leading Tier One gold mining company to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for a foot-in-the-door contract role.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional between contracts, returning to the workforce, or seeking a well-paid assignment with a respected employer.

You’ll join a supportive team in South Perth and play a key role in delivering accurate payroll services across a large workforce. While experience with Pronto is highly regarded, we’re keen to hear from payroll professionals with strong end-to-end payroll experience across any major payroll platform.

About the Role

As part of a busy payroll team, you’ll support the end-to-end processing of multiple fortnightly payrolls while providing exceptional service to employees and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end payroll processing for 3 entities
• New starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
• Leave entitlement management
• Payroll reconciliations and reporting
• Employee and stakeholder query resolution
• Statutory compliance and reporting
• Payroll process improvement initiatives

About You

We’re interested in speaking with payroll professionals who have:

• End-to-end payroll experience within medium to large organisations
• Exposure to high-volume payroll environments
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Experience with Pronto Payroll is highly regarded but not essential. Candidates with experience using larger payroll systems such as SAP, Chris21, Micropay, Aurion, TechnologyOne, Workday or similar are encouraged to apply.
