Join a well-established payroll team located north of the river. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a high performing team and be part of a 5 person payroll team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in payroll and have experience using MYOB PayGlobal, ADP Payforce or SAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast paced environment and gain exposure working multiple EBA’s at once.
Responsibilities
- Processing all new starters & terminations,
- Processing weekly / monthly pay runs and ad hoc payments,
- Processing bank payments using online banking,
- End of month and end of year reconciliation and reporting,
- Ensure wages and tax withholding’s comply with relevant legislation and regulations,
- Managing the Payroll inbox including responding to questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions and
- Manage Leave reconciliations and verifications for a variety of employment instruments
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience as a Payroll Officer covering end to end payroll processing
- Experience with SAP, PRONTO, HRIS, Chris 21, ADP, Definitive, XERO or MYOB
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Good knowledge of labor and taxation legislation
- Ability to interpret Awards and EBA’s.
- Time-management skills with a flexible approach and ability to adjust if and when needed.
- Ability to handle and work with highly confidential information.
