People Advisor

Seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join this site based team on a Fly In, Fly Out basis, supporting leaders and employees across the full employee life cycle. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional with a strong generalist background and proven experience within the mining or heavy industry sectors.

About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR support across the full employee life cycle. You will provide advice and coaching to site leaders, manage employee relations and case management, and ensure HR practices are aligned with both company values and legislative requirements. This role is critical in fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice, coaching, and support to leaders and employees across the site
• Manage employee relations matters, including case management and investigations
• Support workforce planning, onboarding, and performance management processes
• Drive compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
• Partner with leaders to build capability and improve people outcomes

About You

• Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role within the mining or heavy industry sectors – ideally site based experience
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, case management, and HR best practice
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with leaders and employees on site
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, site-based environment
