Principal – Corporate Financial Analyst

A pivotal role there is clear scope for you to make a real impact in group financial planning and strategic decision-making within this leading ASX-listed mining company. 

Reporting to the Finance Group Manager, you will take ownership of the corporate financial model and support life-of-asset planning, budgeting and forecasting across the Group.

Day-to-day matters will include:

• Maintaining and improving the Group corporate financial model
• Preparing integrated three-way models across profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow
• Delivering scenario modelling and analysis for strategic decisions, treasury and business development
• Coordinating life-of-asset reporting and supporting project evaluations
• Assisting with Group budgets, forecasts and driver-based analysis
• Preparing executive and Board-level reports and presentations
• Working closely with operational, exploration and corporate stakeholders
• Producing industry analysis, peer comparisons and ad hoc financial reporting
• Supporting improvements across financial planning systems and processes

About You

• Significant corporate financial modelling, FP&A or corporate finance experience
• Advanced Excel and integrated three-way modelling capability
• Mining industry experience and a strong understanding of operational drivers
• Experience coordinating budgets, forecasts and longer-term plans
• Pronto, SAP or a comparable large ERP environment
• Strong stakeholder-management and executive-presentation skills
• A relevant degree and CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
• Full Australian Working Rights 
• Previous Big Four accounting or corporate advisory experience highly regarded.

• Subiaco location near trainline, modern office, with end-of-trip facilities. 
• Salary negotiable commensurate with capabilities and experience + incentives. 
• Permanent, full-time in-office role, with occasional site travel required
• The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and provide a current National Police Clearance.
