Process Technician

Are you a detail-driven Process Technician looking to contribute to a high-performing gold operation?
Scotford Fennessy is partnering with a leading gold producer to recruit experienced Process Technicians across established sites in Western Australia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing plant performance, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement in a safety-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitoring and optimising gold processing circuits including crushing, milling, CIL/CIP, flotation, elution, and tailings
• Analysing process data and trends to identify opportunities for improved recovery and efficiency
• Investigating plant upsets and supporting troubleshooting activities
• Conducting routine inspections and ensuring plant performance is maintained
• Assisting with metallurgical test work, sampling, and reporting (where required)
• Working closely with operations and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement
• Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years FIFO experience in gold processing plants in a technician or advanced operator capacity
• Strong understanding of gold plant circuits and process optimisation
• Experience interpreting plant data and responding to performance trends
• Exposure to metallurgical accounting or test work (highly regarded)
• Current WA Driver’s Licence (HR desirable)
• Relevant tickets (confined space, working at heights) preferred
