Procurement Officer (Part-Time)

Located in the SOR corporate office of this resources sector client, there is an upcoming opportunity for a part-time Purchasing Officer. Reporting to the site service superintendent & supply supervisor. 

Core functions of the role include:

• Prioritising the reorder report and purchasing
• Raising monthly PO’s for operational site
• Expediting reports – reorder report and purchasing
• Overseeing price changes in system
• Document control warehouse and procurement  
• Utilisation of inventory and procurement systems (Pronto)

Role particulars:

• 30 hours per week
• 5 days per week at 6 hours OR 4 days per week at 7.6 hours
• Circa 4 – 6 months opportunity
• Start date: Early to Mid-August TBC
• Parking available (at own cost) nearby
• SOR location
• Hourly rate circa $52 – $55 + super

About you:

• Demonstrated previous experience with core functions of the role captured above, in the resources sector
• Demonstrated experience with Pronto 
• Full Australian Working Rights
