About the opportunity

Our client is a well-established yet rapidly growing open pit mining contractor with projects across Australia. They are currently looking for experienced Project Managers to lead their latest project in WA. This project offers significant mine life and a great opportunity for someone to come in and make a real impact to the operation.

About the role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the daily running of project, attending client meeting, ensuring all aspects of safety, production and operations are all running smoothly.  Furthermore, you will be in charge of overseeing cost controls and budgets for the project and reporting to the Mining Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Significant experience in hard rock open pit mining, ideally gold
• Proven ability to provide clear leadership and manage teams successfully in a Project Manager role or similar.
