Resource Definition Geologist

About the Role:

You will join the Resource Development function within the Exploration Team to support their near mine surface drilling program –  to target and evaluate potential mineral resource upgrades and extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the drill rig, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Chip logging – ensure that geological data is accurately recorded.
• Mentor and support field graduate geologists, providing guidance on logging procedures, geological interpretation, and safety protocols.
• Ensure adherence to rig safety protocols and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the management team, detailing drilling activities, geological findings, and any safety incidents or concerns.

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as a Geologist in WA Mining
• Tertiary Qualification in Geology
• Manual Driver’s Licence
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Clean Police Clearance
