We’re partnering with a well-established national multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Engineer who is ready to grow into a Team Leader role.
Rather than expecting you to already have extensive people management experience, this business is committed to providing the mentoring, guidance and leadership support needed to help you make that transition successfully. You’ll work alongside experienced leaders who will invest in your development while you continue delivering technically challenging projects across a diverse range of sectors.
With projects spanning Waste Management, Industrial, Urban, Roads and Public Infrastructure, no two days are the same.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a broad range of civil engineering projects while progressively building your leadership capability. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll be involved in both technical delivery and project management, with increasing opportunities to mentor engineers and designers and lead project teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engineering design and construction supervision for civil infrastructure, earthworks, roads, pavements and drainage.
- Engineering design for civil infrastructure, public works, industrial facilities and associated infrastructure.
- Design development, project and financial management.
- Scoping projects and preparing bids and proposals.
- Construction contract superintendency.
- Engineering investigations, technical reporting and client liaison.
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers while developing your own leadership skills.
About You
You’ll be an experienced Civil Engineer who enjoys building relationships, solving complex engineering challenges and is motivated by the opportunity to step into leadership.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience within an engineering consultancy environment.
- Strong civil design and project delivery experience.
- Experience across infrastructure, industrial, roads, urban development sector projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ambition to develop into a Team Leader.
