Senior Financial Accountant

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact in this large construction firm as an experienced Senior Financial Accountant supporting the Year-End Process, with a particular focus on preparing and consolidating statutory accounts in advance of external audit.

Core functions of the role

• Consolidation of statutory accounts across business units
• Preparation and review of financial statements
• Drafting and finalising notes to the accounts
• Support with external audit processes
• Assist with tax reporting and fixed asset registers
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

We’re looking for someone who can confidently navigate a full set of financials and contribute meaningfully during the peak reporting period.

About the opportunity

• Up to $70/hour + superannuation
• Immediate Start
• 2-month contract (with potential for some extension)
• Based in Osborne Park
• Some flexibility in start/end times
• 5 days per week, full time hours 
• Parking available (low daily cost)

About you

• CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Strong hands-on experience with statutory reporting and audit preparation
• Proven ability to work through complex financial statements
• Knowledge of tax, fixed assets, and compliance
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Vista ERP is a bonus (not essential)
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal handholding
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Demonstrated Australian Experience
