Senior Mine Geologist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mine Geologist to support the expanding open pit mines of one of WA’s leading gold mining companies. This is a great opportunity to develop your career with a well established name, you will provide technical leadership across mine production, grade control, and resource development, ensuring high-quality geological input and strong operational performance.
 

About the Role:

You will lead a small, close knit crew to provide senior geological support to ensure effective ore control and alignment between geological interpretation and mining activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of grade control processes
• Validation of geological models in active mining areas
• Reconciliation review
• Mentoring of site geology staff
• Work closely with mining operations to optimise ore recovery, reduce dilution, and improve confidence in short-term production forecasts

About You:

• At least 5 years of experience in open-pit gold mining in WA.
• Previous experience as a Senior Geologist
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Geology
• Proficiency in geological modelling software (e.g., Vulcan, Datamine, Leapfrog.
• Manual Driver’s Licence
• Full Australian working rights
