Senior Payroll Officer

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as a Senior Payroll Officer in this well-established aged care organisation with a strong reputation and a long-standing presence in Western Australia.

Based in Bentley, this is a hands-on payroll role within a supportive team environment, responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll across a workforce of approximately 770 employees.

Core functions of the role include:

• End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing (circa-750 employees)
• Processing new starters, terminations, leave, allowances and adjustments
• Responding to payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders
• Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements and payroll conditions
• Managing payroll compliance obligations including superannuation and accruals
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data

About you 

You are an experienced payroll professional who values accuracy, structure and being part of a collaborative team. You are comfortable working to deadlines, communicating with stakeholders and managing end-to-end payroll responsibilities.

• End-to-end payroll experience
• Experience working with awards and/or enterprise agreements
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance (NES, super, accruals)
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to obtain a police clearance
• Strong Chris21 ERP experience (must)

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to aged care or healthcare environments
• Experience supporting payroll improvements or system changes

Particulars 

• Fortnightly payroll cycle
• Early start/finish (7:15 – 8am – 3:15 – 4pm)
• On-site role with parking available
• WFH 2x days per week on non-payroll weeks 

Salary package circa $100,000 – $110,000 + superannuation + NFP salary packaging, commensurate with experience.
