Senior Underground Geologist

About the Role:

Reporting to the Underground Superintendent, you will lead mine geology, grade control, and reconciliation activities while developing a high-performing team and driving technical excellence across the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead grade control, ore production, and geological reconciliation to optimise recovery and minimise dilution
• Provide geological expertise to support Life of Mine planning and operational decision-making
• Analyse mining, drilling, and geological data to drive performance improvements and technical outcomes
• Mentor and develop the geology team through coaching, training, and capability uplift
• Support budgeting, cost control, contractor management, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage safety, risk management, compliance, and adherence to WA standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Geology (or related discipline)
• Minimum 3 years in a Senior Underground Geologist role in Western Australian Gold Mining
• Confident using Surpac and Leapfrog
• Manual Australian Drivers License 
• Clean National Police Clearance
