Senior Underground Mine Geologist

Join one of Australia’s largest and most respected gold mining companies as a Senior Underground Geologist! This opportunity is based in the Goldfields, offering an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth and the chance to advance your geology career with a major industry leader.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will support the underground geology operations by managing drilling programs, delivering accurate data for mine planning, optimising stope designs, and training junior geologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all mine geology operations, tracking ore mining activities to maximise recovery and minimise dilution
• Manage drill scheduling and approvals, delivering resource model updates aligned with mine plans
• Direct grade control, ore production, and reconciliation in collaboration with the Perth Technical Team
• Prepare geological budgets and drive cost-saving and revenue-enhancing initiatives
• Supervise and mentor geologists, technicians, and contractors to ensure technical excellence

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Geologist in underground gold mining
• Tertiary Qualification in Geology
• Proficient in Leapfrog
• Manual Driver’s Licence
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Clean Police Clearance
