Systems and Project Accountant

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as a Systems and Project Accountant, leading the design, implementation and optimisation of IFS across this leading international group in the renewables/ marine sector. 

Multi-facetted, your challenge will involve liaising across several stakeholder groups, understanding their existing processes to integrate the different financial systems, and once implemented, provide training and support on IFS functionality and reporting to the wider finance teams. 

Core functions of the role will include:

• System Implementation & Integration
• Process Optimisation and Automation
• Financial Reporting and Data Analysis
• Stakeholder collaboration and Support 

From here, you will then be the ongoing liaison between finance, IT and operations. The vision for the group over the next couple of years will be further enhance their smarts with data. 

About you 

As an accountant, you will understand the the end goal – the reports the group want to deliver. Your system implementation expertise will help facilitate this. Critical thinking, problem solving and sound communication/interpersonal skills are the name of the game. 

• Accounting Qualification
• CPA/CA (desirable)
• IFS experience (highly desirable)
• Full Australian working rights

Demonstrated experience in:

• Financial systems implementation experience
• System integration and financial software
• Management of projects including systems/process transformation

Understanding of:

• Financial reporting tools
• Financial automation   
• Financial processes and compliance

Our client will negotiate a salary package commensurate with capabilities and experience circa $170,000 + superannuation.
